“I’ve Just Seen a Face”, with Stevan Holt on lead guitar. Many thanks to John Henry, proprietor of the Maui Coffee Attic, for his (once again) warm welcome for this informal lunchtime gig.

The Way You Look Tonight
BEEEG Mahalo to grade school friend Kahala Greig for inviting Chris to sit in with him for the evening set at Duke’s Beach House, Ka’anapali, Maui, playing for the tourists, the sparrows, and you & me. Some last-minute Hawaiian song cramming (Honolulu City Lights, Tiny Bubbles, Kanaka Wai Wai…), along with other covers, ranging from “The Way You Look Tonight” to “#9 Dream”.
Snippet from recording-in-progress Chez Sam.

Dreaming Chris plays acoustic solo originals and covers at Wailuku’s Maui Coffee Attic, John and Gwen Henry’s very musician-friendly café in an informal, relaxing setting with great drinks and food. Come have a sip and listen to some tunes as Chris warbles with his voice and tickles his guitar.
Many thanks to friends who came to support us yet again and also to those passersby who stopped to listen, including Phil, the Christmas Village Mascot. We missed our drummer boy Ricky the Martino, who had to work at his day job, for goodness’ sake, and so played a mellow set for the wandering Villagers. We had a wunnerful time at Hyde (oops, “Love”) Park and wish you all a very Happy Krimble.
Just scratch rhythm guitar and guide vocal, but Chris and Sam started recording today in Sam’s spiff, new, home studio. Pretty exciting, kiddies, and looking forward to moving forward in the coming weeks, updates to come…
Join Chris & Norm as they warm up yer chilly bones in Love Park’s Christmas Village this coming Saturday…
